I have a pub just south of Reading.I don't know whether you are aware, but Courage (Thames Valley) moved warehouses at the same time as the new computer system was introduced. You can picture the scene! This week I have reduced by 80% my purchasing from Courage, and moved to Wadworth. The main reason is lack of customer empathy - and price.

My experience...We run a small Pub Estates Tenancy in Whitehaven, The Punch Bowl Inn. The Telesales Dept at Scot.Co National Accounts hadn't rung us for two weeks on Friday!! When I contacted them last Wednesday they promised me Beer on Thursday, no show, then Friday. The delivery finally turned up on Friday morning, followed 10 minutes later by a call from their tele sales team asking for next weeks beer order! The Scottish & Newcastle Dray passed me at least once every day last week, and are delivering to all the other local pubs on different days!! I would suggest that they need a transport manager in Carlisle as well as a new computer system!! Regards Gordon FordLicenseeThe Punch Bowl InnWhitehaven.
