The Little Barrow is a well known and respected three-star commercial hotel with 26 spacious en-suite bedrooms, bar, restaurant, and function rooms. It has a long and successful trading history and enviable reputation stretching back to the early 1970s. The hotel was sold by Mick Denny and Mrs Jan Uzupris, who after many years in the hospitality industry plan to take life easier in sunnier climes. The enthusiastic new owners, Mr & Mrs Steve Pike, aim to build upon the already excellent traditions of the Little Barrow and have ambitious plans to take the business forward in the future. Birmingham office manager Jonathan Wren, commenting on behalf of Robert Barry & Co, said: "The speed of the sale and the high price achieved is yet further evidence of the strong demand that exists for quality hotels such as the Little Barrow. "With uncertainty in the stock market and the economy in general, commercial hotels with a history of trading stability are seen by many as a good long term investment.
