A licensee is planning to start a "Kids Kitchen Club" to encourage children to try different foods. American Scott Herbst, who has just taken over the Exmoor Sandpiper in North Devon, believes pubs should be for all the family ­ including children, who he believes should have fun experimenting with food. The pub is situated high on Countisbury Hill above Lynmouth, overlooking the Bristol Channel, and Herbst and his wife, Louise, have decided to launch the Kids Kitchen Club ­ cookery classes for children after school. JDW at Stansted A new JD Wetherspoon pub has opened at Stansted Airport. The decision was made after the success of a five-month trial involving three machines.
