JD Wetherspoon pub customers can now enjoy two of the company's most popular wines at home following the launch of its online wine ordering service. Both Fetzer Coldwater Creek red and white wines from California can now be ordered on the internet and delivered direct to the customer's home. The wines, which are on saleat all JDW pubs and Lloyds No.1 Bars, are not available in off-licences or supermarkets. The online ordering service is entitled "Our house your home" (www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/buywine) and wines can be ordered by the case of 12 bottles. Wetherspoon head of marketing Clare Martin said: "Our pubs sell a combined total of 3.5 million bottles of the two Fetzer wines a year. "We receive numerous requests from customers asking where they can buy the wine outside of Wetherspoon pubs, so it seemed a logical step to sell the wine direct to them. "We are confident that this innovative approach will prove popular and the range of wines for sale may be extended in the future." The wine can be purchased as a case of red or white or mixed. The launch price for a case of 12 bottles is £59.98, which includes free UK delivery. Each additional case ordered at the time of purchase will give the customer a £5 discount per case.
