Pub trade novices Dean and Samantha Brand are to feature on Channel 4 show Relocation, Relocation tonight, which will put them behind the bar of the Old Comical on the Isle of Wight.

Dean and Samantha got their introduction to the trade courtesy of pub company InnSpired, which installed them as tenants in March.

The couple formerly lived in Nuneaton with their two-year-old son William. Samantha was a bank clerk, and Dean was an account manager for a photocopier firm.

Working with the TV show's Relocation experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer (pictured), as well as InnSpired business development manager Peter Ellis, they are now learning the ropes in time for the holiday season.

Peter Brook, chief executive of InnSpired, said: "Dean and Samantha are perfect examples of the sort of people we want to run InnSpired pubs. A good, decent local pub like the Old Comical needs entrepreneurial flair, and it is this kind of pub that InnSpired is keen to support."

Samantha said: "Our lives have been completely transformed. We saw that the Old Comical had great potential, and four weeks on, we're very pleased with our choice."

She added: "The customers are great, and our son loves it here, so I think we'll be happy for many years to come."

The programme will air tonight (Wednesday, April 7) on Channel 4 at 8pm.
