The Ferry Inn, a former coaching inn in the village of Tayinloan, near Tarbert in Argyllshire, is on the market.
Christie & Co's Glasgow office in handling the sale on behalf of owners Ian and Mary McMahon.
Brian Sheldon, director of Christie & Co, said the Ferry Inn was located in a picturesque part of Argyllshire, close to the ferry terminal to the Isle of Gigha.
"The Ferry Inn is more than 150 years old and was formerly known as the Tayinloan Inn."
Offers in the region of £175,000 are sought for the freehold interest.
"The recently refurbished inn comprises lounge bar, conservatory restaurant, function facility, games room, three letting bedrooms and owner's accommodation," said Sheldon.
"The Ferry Inn is more than 150 years old and was formerly known as the Tayinloan Inn and before that the MacDonald Arms Hotel.
"When the McMahons purchased the inn it had been closed for a significant period of time.
They relaunched the business in October 2003 having invested much time, money and effort into a refurbishment programme."
He said the McMahons were now offering the business for sale due to health reasons.
