Woodward Foodservice has launched a new range of desserts including Chocolate & Blueberry Cheesequake and Cream Tea Cheesecake.

Chocolate & Blueberry Cheesequake features a crunchy bourbon base, layers of vanilla cheesecake, chocolate brownie and a sweet blueberry compôte, topped off with a rich chocolate ganache and chunks of brownie. It serves 12 and costs around £1.58 per slice. Cream Tea Cheesecake features a digestive base topped with a blend of strawberries, scone pieces and clotted cream cheesecake. KITCHEN RANGE FOODS​ has added six new products to its combo range. BLUE DRAGON​ has launched a range of three infused oils, which will add flavour to Chinese and Thai dishes. The garlic, ginger and spicy sesame oils can be used to marinate meat, in stir-fries or as a dip for crusty bread. They can also be used to flavour noodles or salad dressings. Food file.

A new dark vegetarian gravy has been launched by NESTLÉ FOODSERVICES​. The company says the product means pub chefs only have to make one type of gravy as it is ideal for use with both vegetarian and meat dishes. Susan Gregory, marketing manager for Maggi at Nestlé Foodservices, said: "The gravy works just as well with sausages as it does with vegetarian options." It comes in 300g and 2kg packs and once mixed, takes a minute to simmer and is bainmarie stable and microwaveable. The new gravy joins reformulated original gravy, which now has an enhanced beefy flavour and Golden Gravy, which can be served with chicken and turkey dishes.
