The Tom Foolery in Bromley has been named Fuller's pub of the year completing a hat-trick of award wins for manageress Sue Hayden.
The pub netted Fuller's Griffin Trophy which is awarded annually to the Fuller's pub which most impresses judges with its appearance, quality of ales and cellar, food, atmosphere, commitment and enthusiasm.
Presenting the award to Hayden, Fuller's chief executive Michael Turner said: "The Tom Foolery is an absolute delight. Sue has built a team which is second to none, and a pub that Fuller's is proud to own. This is the third year running that Sue has been recognised in this competition and the first time she has taken the overall trophy."
The triumph caps a great year for Hayden, who also secured an entry in the Campaign for Real Ale's Good Beer Guide for the fifth successive year.
Turner added: "As well as winning the Griffin Trophy, the Tom Foolery has also won awards in the past, both from Fuller's and the local authority, and Sue's continuous appearance in the Good Beer Guide is testament to her attention to beer quality.
"The Tom Foolery offers something for everyone great food, great beer, a fantasticwine selection and the warmest of welcomes from Sue and her team."
As well as the coveted Griffin Trophy, Hayden received a plaque, £3,000 holiday voucher and £500 cash for the pub staff.
In addition to the overall Griffin Trophy, pubs are recognised in three different categories Best Town/Local Pub, Best Country/Village Pub and Best City Pub. All the category winners receive a plaque to commemorate their achievement, a £1,000 holiday voucher and £200 cash for the pub staff.
A case of Champagne is awarded to the best newcomer.
