Trio reap rewards at Farmers Arms

Nicholas Calfe, of the Bristol office of Christie & Co, explained: "The lease was sold for an undisclosed figure from an asking price of £135,000 to partners, Mark Lloyd Miller, Dean Kempling and Mark Bilson, who teamed up in Manchester after operating in the hotel and pub industry.
"Already they are gaining a reputation for high-quality food that's freshly cooked and locally sourced.
"The previous owners, Brendan and Michelle Watkins have embarked on a tour of Europe and the Far East."
The Farmers Arms is in the heart of the award-winningvillage of Wellington Heath.
It comprises a central lounge bar, a 40-cover no-smoking restaurant and a function room for up to 50 people. The owner's accommodation, which is on the first floor, is self-contained.

It is set on a large site in an evaluated position overlookinga wooded hillside.
"Benefiting from a consistent all-year-round trade derived locally from the surroundingvillages and towns, the overall site is approaching one acre witha large car park suitable for coaches," added Calfe.
