How was trade over the Easter weekend holiday?

"We had a good weekend overall even though Easter was quite a bit earlier this year. This is traditionally the start of Blackpool's summer season so there were plenty of visitors in town and Saturday was good thanks to the live England v Ireland game. Unfortunately, there were a few minor incidents which spoiled things a little, but I have to be happy with our volume of trade which was slightly up on last Easter."

"It wasn't too bad although trade generally was nothing to write home about so I would say it was just about as busy as a normal Easter. We had a very good Sunday when for the second year running we put on a big quiz and it proved to be our best day of the weekend. After the good weather earlier in the week it cooled down a bit and there was more cloud so perhaps it kept people at home."

"Blackpool was definitely busier this year and the interesting thing was that many visitors appeared to arrive quite early on the Thursday to make it a full weekend and there were definitely more families around. We had a particularly good Saturday which started with the football. Takings were definitely up on last year so we were very happy with things."

"Despite the grey and damp weather we had a fairly good weekend and I would say Good Friday and Easter Sunday were the best two days. Food trade was excellent on Sunday which was out best day of the weekend. We were possibly a little down on the previous Easter which fell quite a bit later but we are not complaining."
