M&B pledges support for charity Barnardo's
Mitchells & Butlers has pledged a donation of £50,000 to its new charity partner, children's charity Barnardo's.
The money will be spent in two projects Community Plus and Dudley Community ROUTES.
Community Plus, in Bartley Green, provides local families with advice and direct support for relationship problems, finance, housing, health and community group activities.
The Dudley Community ROUTES offers similar support for parents as well as childcare and advice and practical activities for young people.
Christopher Timothy, star of the BBC drama series Doctors, helped launch the partnership.
Mitchells & Butlers chief executive, Tim Clarke said: "M & B is committed to giving something back into the community, and by working together with Barnardo's, we are able give families and children routes to a brighter future."
