A 300-year-old watering hole with strong ties to the angling fraternity, and located close to Britain's No 1 tourist attraction, has recently come to market in the Staffordshire town of Cresswell.

The Izaak Walton Inn, near Alton Towers, is named in honour of the famed author of The Compleat Angler, considered by many to be the 'fisherman's bible.
