Bag yourself a month's supply of free nuts
The latest boost to The Publican's Proud of Pubs campaign is a cracker.
Sun Valley Peanuts is already urging pubs and pub-goers to get behind Proud of Pubs on new packaging which goes into distribution later this month.
And the Wirral-based supplier believes so strongly in The Publican campaign that it is offering to give away a month's supply of nuts and snacks to one licensee signing up to the Proud of Pubs Charter every month.
From now until the end of the year, the name of everyone signing up to the charter will be put into a hat, with one picked out each month to win the snacks.
Signatories commit to trading according to 10 key principles, including respecting local residents. The charter can be viewed at www.thepublican.com/proudofpubs.
Jim Hacking, sales director of Sun Valley, told The Publican: "We are delighted to be involved in the Proud of Pubs campaign, which is all about highlighting the best of traditional values - quality beer, quality snacks and good company - that has made the English pub world-famous.
