Punch Taverns has indentified the final 16 in its annual Shine retailers awards.

The company is now inviting fellow licensees to vote for the winner - with proceeds from the vote going to charity.

Nicola Highton from Punch said: "All our finalists have done incredibly well to create award winning pub businesses but there has to be one overall winner. Last year we had more than 8,000 votes which made for a great charity donation and we are hopeful we can top that in 2006."
