Manchester Brewer Hydes has this week announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors.

 The first is Paul Mercer who has been appointed as Tied Trade Director.

 Paul who joined Hydes over 8 years ago from Wolverhampton and Dudley Brewery will take overall responsibility for the profitable running of the 71 tenanted and managed pubs the Brewery owns across the North West and North Wales.

 Also welcomed to the Board is Andrew Kitchin as Free Trade Director.

 Andrew joined Hydes 6 years ago having previously worked with Coca Cola and Jennings Brewery.

 Andrew will take responsibility for the growth of Hydes free trade business across the North West, which has enjoyed an 41% increase in sales over the last 12 months.

 Hydes Managing Director Chris Hopkins said: "We are delighted to welcome Paul and Andrew to the Board. In the time they have been working for Hydes they have both showed great skill in their areas of specialism and these Board appointments ensure that they will continue to have a big impact on our business as we move forward."
