Easter weekend, which traditionally kicks off the summer season for pubs, is only a couple of weeks away.

The biting wind in recent days might have been cold enough to quick-chill a lasagne, but connoisseurs of the British weather will be aware how suddenly that can all change.

Good Friday could easily be a hot cross bun of a day, so it's time to make sure your garden is in shape to lure in the family trade.
