Coffee always gives me a bit of a buzz, but a decent holiday would get me tingling even more. Nestlé FoodServices is running an on-pack promotion with the chance to win two flights every day with 750g and 1kg tins of Nescafé Original and Nescafé Gold Blend. You have to enter the code found on the tin on the website - our Reg must know how to do that, the amount of time he spends on the internet - and then choose from a list of 31 destinations including Barcelona, Crete, Dubrovnik, Rome and Venice. Angel Delight No Added Sugar​

One for the kiddies. You have to keep it healthy for them these days - bless you, Jamie Oliver. Premier Foods is offering a new Angel Delight No Added Sugar range with a convenient re-sealable lid. It comes in strawberry, chocolate and my personal favourite, butterscotch flavour. Each 470g pack provides 40 servings at around 10p a throw - quite literally, with some of the kids' parties we have here.

Solo Cups Traveller Plus​

Now, if you'd asked me last year whether we'd make money from takeaway tea and coffee, I'd have laughed. Or barred you. But, ever since that new call centre opened down the road, it's been a nice sideline. The Traveller Plus lid from Solo Cups is ideal - a re-closeable two-part lid that makes sipping hot drinks on the move easy, and prevents spillages. It fits 12oz, 16oz and 20oz paper cups and provides extra space for froth. I'm saying nothing.

McDougalls oat cookie mix​

And what goes better with a cuppa than a nice biscuit? McDougalls has launched a new oat cookie mix, with 26 per cent oats. Put out a plate of warm homemade cookies and you'll be quids in. Oats help to keep energy levels steady and offer a good source of soluble fibre, and you can add your own touches like cranberries, coconut, apple and raisins. Or chocolate.

Apparently, we're all supposed to be having five portions a day. Personally, I don't know where I'm going to find the time, but I think my regulars will be pleased with Juice Bar, the new 100 per cent pure juice from Del Monte Foodservice. It comes in a big, healthy 330ml pack, as well a one litre pack. That's four portions left...

Knorr Garde d'Or Bechamel Sauce​

A splash of sauce makes all the difference, and with ready-to-use sauce always useful to have ready, Unilever Foodsolutions has launched béchamel Sauce into its Knorr Garde d'Or range. A great base for all white sauces, it's made with 20 per cent cream and is suitable for vegetarians. It's also delicately seasoned, giving chefs the opportunity to add their own creativity - although my lot will be following the recipe, thank you very much. We're not having a repeat of that episode.

British Sausage Week contest​

I can remember when it was just a matter of slipping the banger between your bap, but there's so much more versatility in the sausage market these days. For this year's British Sausage Week, taking place from October 30 until November 5, the British Pig Executive (BPEX) is running a competition to find "the Supreme Sausage Sarnie". I plan to start experimenting with some recipes straight away. Chipolata and chutney, anyone?
