Pub Roast of the Year
The great British roast dinner is as much part of our culture as the pub itself and no pub menu would be complete without one.
That is why we are offering you the chance to tell the rest of the country what makes your roast so special and has the punters coming back for more.
In conjunction with Knorr Gravy we are running a Pub Roast of the Year competition with some truly fantastic prizes on offer to the winners.
As well as the prestige and business-boosting PR value generated by winning the title of Pub Roast of the Year
2006 for your pub, our roast-dinner champion will win the opportunity to talk food with chef Heston Blumenthal at the Hinds Head in Bray, Berkshire, which has just won the Observer's Best Sunday Lunch Award.
The winner will also tour the pub as well as Heston's famed
Fat Duck restaurant and food lab, also located in Bray.
In addition our winner will receive £1,000, a plaque to put up outside their pub to let customers know they serve the best pub roast in Britain, a full set of I O Shen knives and a knife roll from Knife Wizard.
Three other finalists will receive I O Shen knives - consisting of two chefs knives, an Oriental slicer and a paring knife - with a knife roll. Our finalists will also each receive a certificate.
