Gleaming glasses​

Cater-Kwik's Spulboy range of mobile professional glasswashers can be mounted on a counter-top or sink, needs no electricity, uses little water and, above-all, removes the dreaded lipstick mark.

As well as being ideal for smaller establishments or for working alongside a front-loading glassswasher, the company says the Spulboy is perfect for outside catering and versatile enough for beer festivals. Glasses are washed mechanically in a pre-wash container with interior and exterior brushes. Every glass is rinsed with fresh water. Fresh water also runs into the pre-wash container while rinsing takes place. Flexible friend​

Winterhalter has added a flexible zone activation feature to the latest WKT 1200 dishwasher to deal with different loads at different times of the day, conserve energy and reduce rinse-aid and detergent consumption. The zone activation automatically detects how many dishes are passing through the machine and adjusts the cycle accordingly, while a contactcontrolled rinse-aid process prevents overuse of wash chemicals to ensure thorough washing and rinsing.

Winterhalter says the WKT 1200 has a throughput of up to 110 racks per hour and, even though it's only 1,300mm long, it's still powerful enough for the biggest of events.

Nescafé Coffee Company has launched the Excel 846 Soluble Bulk Brewer machine for serving high volumes of customers. Nescafé says it is made for large events and banquets. It has three adjustable dispense points and is designed to accommodate a variety of pot sizes using the Milano range of soluble coffees. Each coffee dispenser can fill a 1.5-litre coffee pot in just 15 seconds and it can be set to fill a single cup, a half pot or a full pot. It was developed to minimise waste and maximise cost efficiency.

The daily grind​

Bravilor Bonamat's fresh brew equipment is now also available with a grinder so you can get fresh coffee at the touch of a button with the FreshGround machine. A good grilling​

Equip Line has launched a Nieco N10 broiler designed for low-volume establishments. Equip Line says: "The Neico N10 will give your customers the charbroiled flavour they love. No bigger than a microwave, the N10 cooks both sides simultaneously and produces delicious ¼lb Hamburgers from frozen in four to six minutes and steaks, tuna and chicken fillets in under four minutes. There is an optional hotdog grill and cheese melter.
