We've already had four yellow cards, two sendings off and a professional foul. And that's just among the kitchen staff. That's what you get for multinational recruitment - there's someone getting excited about just about every game, Still, the World Cup's been good for trade so far, and we're even selling a bit more food than last time.

Knorr Collezione Italiana Woodfired Pizza Base

Did you see those lovely Italian boys in their game against Ghana? Mmmm. I shall be thinking of them when I serve up these Knorr Collezione Italiana Woodfired Pizza Bases. The frozen, pre-cooked thin pizza base is conveniently covered with a delicious tomato sauce, and Knorr has also created four pizza topping recipes for World Cup menus - England All Day Breakfast, Swedish Prawn & Smoked Salmon, Paraguayan Chorizo & Pepperami and Trinidad & Tobago Tropical Chicken.

PG Tips football mug

If England go all the way, I shall be celebrating with a nice cup of tea, and showing my support with a PG Tips football mug. You can send off for two free mugs when you buy a case of PG Tips from wholesalers and cash and carry outlets before June 30, and the redemption form by July 14. Where did I put the chocolate digestives?

Lea & Perrins Worcesterchef

I use Worcestershire sauce in all sort of recipes, and I'm thinking of entering my special burgers in the 2006 Lea & Perrins Worcesterchef recipe competition. The competition encourages cooks to get their creative juices flowing with a light bite or main course meal using Lea & Perrins. The competition closes on June 30, and the top 10 finalists battle it out in a live cook-off at Westminster Kingsway College on the July 27. Once the judges see my meaty baps, it'll be no contest.

Chef range new packaging

I'm always stuck for somewhere to poke my bits and pieces when I'm busy in the kitchen, so I like the idea of this new user-friendly packaging for the range of Chef fonds, fumets and jus. The packs are easy to handle, stack and store, and the resealable lids mean you can even peel off the labels and use them as storage containers. The range comes in a dehydrated format, plus, thanks to their low salt content, chefs can reduce and thicken their stocks and jus without impairing the flavour. They have no added MSG, a long shelf life of 18 months and are cost effective.

Authentic Food Company Gastro-Pub range

I'm not a big fan of the word gastro, it reminds me too much of our Beverley's operation, but everyone's at it now, aren't they? The Authentic Food Company, which makes lovely onion bhajis, has launched seven products under its new Gastro-Pub brand. The range features hearty meat products, ideal as main courses, including chunky Malaysian beef curry with asparagus and aubergine, corn-fed chicken breast in a forest mushroom sauce, and pork hock in a spicy Peking sauce. They're either sous-vide, oven-cook or microwaveable. Definitely a way to take our menu upmarket once the football's out of the way.

Heinz Lights

We're trying to be a bit healthier with our summer menu, so the new Light French Dressing and Light Salad Cream from Heinz is ideal. The new Light French Dressing has less than 14 calories per sachet and at least 80 per cent less fat than Heinz standard French dressing. The Light Salad Cream has at least 25 per cent less fat. To celebrate the launch Heinz is offering one of you a flight in a hot air balloon, as well as a case of each of the products (200 sachets) for the winner and five runners up. Not me, I can't stand heights.
