It's time for a mammoth weekend in the Premiership. This time around, there's not one but two mouth-watering ties.

The Premiership's top four feature as Liverpool host champions Chelsea, and Arsenal welcome league leaders Manchester United.

The Anfield match is on Saturday (SS1, 12noon) while the Emirates game is on Sunday (SS1, 3pm).

Carefully promoted to your football-loving customers, this double delight could mean some valuable extra business for you - for example, the match on Sunday is ideally-timed to follow on from a leisurely roast lunch.

Let's move to matters on the pitch. Due to the teams involved, the matches should have a huge impact in the Premiership title race.

Wins for both Manchester United and Chelsea will widen the gap at the top of the table even further, although on current form, the Gunners will hope to put their recent blistering spell to good use and see off the visiting Red Devils.

Chelsea and Liverpool have both stuttered a little of late. The Blues have had big wins mixed in with a run of draws in the league and the cups.

That said, they are still best-placed to nab the Premiership's top spot off Man U. They also maintain a serious challenge in the knockout competitions, both at home and in the Uefa Champions League.

Recently Liverpool have been dumped out of both domestic cups by the Gunners but then bounced back to condemn Watford to a 3-0 defeat. This stands as the Hornets' second-heaviest loss of the season, behind Chelsea's 4-0 home win back in November.

It all makes for another fascinating weekend of top-class sport - now it's over to you to make the most of it.

l In rugby union's Heineken Cup, it's crunch time for the Welsh and English teams. Wasps, the Ospreys, Sale and Leicester all play, with quarter-final places to fight for. Saturday's trio of matches starts at 1.00pm on SS2.
