There's no debating the top sports attraction on offer this week, with both Manchester Utd and Arsenal gearing up for the return legs of first knock-out round ties of the Champions League this Wednesday evening.

The Red Devils will be keen to hold onto the advantage afforded by their 1-0 win against Lille while on the road.

Lille are no doubt still smarting from the defeat, which saw a cracking header from Peter Odemwingie disallowed, while Manchester's victory goal was delivered by Giggs who whipped in a smart 20-yard set piece from a free kick while Lille were still assembling their defensive wall.

Manchester left the decisive blow till the 83rd minute

and will be looking to sew things up far more quickly in front of a home crowd at Old Trafford.

With the controversy still raging over the outcome, the forthcoming clash promises to be a riveting match.

For the Gunners, however, the boot is firmly on the

other foot. In a ragged

and unfocused performance, Arsene Wenger's side enjoyed plenty of possession during the first half - Tomas Rosicky forced the PSV keeper Gomes to stay on his toes - but they simply couldn't turn the advantage into goals.

They paid for it in the end, though, when Edison Mendez delivered a smooth strike in the second half to put the Gunners firmly on the back foot. The situation was made worse when Philippe Senderos was booked for a senseless handball.

The teams will go head to head at the Emirates Stadium and no doubt the Gunners will be looking to squeeze every last ounce of support they can get from the home crowd.

The Manchester Utd v Lille match can be see on Sky Sports 1 at 6pm (kick off 7.45pm). The Arsenal v Eindhoven PSV match can be seen on Sky Sports 2 at 7.30pm (kick off 7.45pm).
