The sporting highlight of the next seven days must surely be the return of the Uefa Cham-pions League to our screens. From the Premiership, Liver-pool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all made it to the quarter-final stages.

The first legs get under way on Tuesday. Liverpool travel to Holland to face PSV Eind-hoven. The Dutch side elim-

inated Arsenal in the last round, and will be dying to pick up a second Premiership scalp. Tune in to ITV1 from 7.30pm.

On Wednesday, Man U and Chelsea are both in action. The Red Devils travel to Italy to meet Roma, while the Blues host Spain's Valencia. Valencia are pushing champions Barcelona hard in La Liga, and will provide the Blues with an almighty challenge.

Coverage of Man U's game starts at 7pm on SS1, while Chelsea are on SS2 from 7.30pm. All Champions League games kick-off at 7.45pm

Along with action in Europe's premier club competition, there's also domestic football of the highest order, in the form of the Liverpool-Arsenal match at Anfield on Saturday. The Gunners have got the better of the Reds in all three of their encounters this season, at home in the league and twice at Anfield in both the Carling Cup and the FA Cup. Arsenal now have only league position to play for, and a win over the Scousers will help secure a third-place finish in the Premiership. Tune in to SS1 from 12noon for the 12.45pm kick-off.

There's also top-class rugby union this weekend in the Heineken Cup. On Friday, Llanelli Scarlets host cup holders Munster. The match is on SS3 from 7.00pm with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Saturday's game between Wasps and Leinster kicks off at 5.30pm; tune in to SS1. The remaining two matches are back-to-back on SS3 on Sunday from 12.30pm. Biarritz host Premiership strugglers Northampton, then Leicester play Stade Français. No second legs here, just a straight knockout for a place in the semis.
