One in five 17 to 18-year-old drivers admits to drink driving, a survey has revealed. One in 14 admitted driving while under the influence of drugs. The findings were the result of a study by road safety charity Brake and Co-operative Insurance (CIS) - The Sun, The Guardian

The Guardian has followed up its front page from yesterday, which revealed the top-paid directors of last year, including Punch Taverns chief Giles Thorley at number three. Today's report claims that Thorley tops the table when it comes to the gap between his pay and an average Punch worker. The paper claims Thorley's total salary package £11,276,000 is 1,148 times the average salary for the group, £9,821 - The Guardian
