with a mouth-watering clash against Aston Villa.

The Reds are holding their position in the crucial top six, but if the Villans take all three points from this game, they will leapfrog Liverpool and Everton and reinforce their claim for a place in Europe.

See whether Aston Villa can fight their way up the table on Monday. All the action is on Setanta1 from 7.00pm.

Everton, meanwhile, have the chance to consolidate their position with a clash against lowly-placed Wigan. Steve Bruce's men also have an FA Cup fourth-round game against Chelsea to look forward to on 26 January.

Wigan host Everton at the JJB Stadium on Sunday (SS1, 1.00pm).

Manager-less Newcastle - currently under the guidance of assistant boss Nigel Pearson having ousted Sam Allardyce last week - host Bolton on Saturday. That match is on Setanta1 from 5.15pm.

Manchester City and West Ham might be sick of the sight of each other by the end of this week. After Wednesday's FA Cup third-round replay, they face each other in a Premier League match on Sunday at 3.30pm (SS1).

If the pair's first hotly-

contested FA Cup meeting, which ended 0-0, is anything to go by, Sunday's Premier League fixture at the City of Manchester Stadium should be a treat to watch, with both sides evenly matched.

The Carling Cup has reached the semi-final second-leg stages. Arsenal and Tottenham are on level pegging after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, while Everton have some chasing to do after losing 2-1 to Chelsea.

The semi-finals are both on SS1. Spurs v Arsenal is screened on Tuesday at 7.30pm, while there's action from Chelsea's trip to Goodison Park on Wednesday at 7.00pm.
