Adnams marketing director Steve Curzon is to leave the brewer at the end of March.

He told thepublican.com: "After four fabulous years I will be leaving the Adnams team at the end of March.

"We have achieved so much in that time developing innovative new products such as Adnams Spindrift and Explorer, taking the brand in to retail with the Adnams Cellar & Kitchen stores, and leading the way in environmental and social impact.

"Its a great business with great people and I have enjoyed my time here immensely."

Curzon said he was "very proud of everything that has been achieved in getting the Adnams brand to where it is today and step back knowing the brand is in great shape for the future".

He said he would announce his next move shortly.

Andy Wood, Adnams' managing director, said: "Following the reorganisation of Adnams in to two business units Steve has played an active role in building the marketing teams for each business, again with an eye to the future.

"His enthusiasm, humour, and personable style will be greatly missed by the team. He has been a great ambassador for this business and he will continue to be a friend of Adnams in the future. He leaves with our very best wishes to him and his family."
