Sheffield-based agent Brownill, Vickers & Platts is merging with chartered surveyors Batemans.
The new firm, known as Brownill Bateman, will bring together companies dating from 1884 and 1888 with strengths in the pub industry throughout the Midlands, the North West and the North East.
Eleven chartered surveyors six specialist valuers will operate from offices in Sheffield, Stockport, Derby, Blackburn, Richmond in North Yorkshire and Rugby.
The new outfit will offer:
• an experienced lettings, rent review, arbitration and dispute resolution team headed by Rodger Vickers;
• a licensed property sales and valuation section headed by managing partner Martin Nicholson;
• the largest tenancy/lease changeover specialists in the country headed by Mike Jones;
• and a licensed property surveying/schedule of dilapidations team headed by Lee Sidebottom.
