Wells and Young's is a leader in cask ale. With passionate farmers and expert brewers, the beers are brewed using techniques over a hundred years old, but in one of the UK's most modern breweries.

There are just four ingredients that go into a pint of Wells and Young's beers - malted barley, hops, unique yeast cultures and accredited mineral water from the brewery's very own well.

With three of the UK's most loved cask ale brands - Wells Bombardier, Young's Bitter and Courage Best, Wells and Young's invests in its brands to ensure their continued success.

Wells Bombardier is synonymous with all things English and has turned St George's Day into one of the busiest pub trading days in the year. With exceptional growth of 6% in the last year, it is outperforming the premium ale market and rapidly establishing itself as a 'must-stock' premium cask ale.

Young's Bitter became the first cask ale to be recognised with the Red Tractor accreditation which means that the barley comes from UK assured farms. With the highest quality ingredients including hops from Kent or Worcestershire, barley from Norfolk, and natural mineral water from the brewery's very own well, Young's stands for Natural Brewing Excellence and remains one of the fastest selling session ales in London.

Iconic beer, Courage Best, has been revitalised by Wells and Young's since its acquisition in 2007. Courage is currently running the largest ever amateur darts tournament, providing support and driving footfall to pubs across the UK. Courage Best is the number three standard cask ale in the on-trade.
