Greene King Brewing Company has unveiled its seasonal cask ale range for 2008, looking to give licensees increasing choice of cask ales throughout the year.

Greene King Brewing Company managing director, Justin Adams said: "Our new seasonal cask ale range will provide drinkers with a broad choice of beers all year round. Alongside our existing portfolio of quality, award-winning cask ales, we're pleased to offer licensees an even greater variety and range of fine ales from established favourites to exclusive new brews."

Spring

To kick start spring, Morland Tanners Jack (4.4 per cent ABV) - brewed to celebrate the centuries old tradition of drinking fine ales from leather tankards called Black Jacks' - will be available from April to May this year. In 2009, Hare Raiser (4.1 per cent ABV) will be specially brewed in time for Easter.

Summer

Two might lighter ales will be available for the summer. One of Greene King's best-selling seasonal ales, Ale Fresco (4.3 per cent) is available from May to June. Then, brand new seasonal Sundance (4.1 per cent ABV) is light in colour with flowery hop aromas, will be available from July to August.

Autumn

Bonkers Conkers (4.1 per cent ABV) is available during September and then Greene King is bringing back Ridley's Witchfinder (4.3 per cent ABV), a Porter style beer in October.WinterAbbot Reserve (6.5 per cent ABV) is one of Greene King's fastest selling and most popular seasonal ales - follwoing a successful launch last year. Hardys and Hanson's Rocking Rudolph (4.5 per cent ABV) will also be laucnhed or the festive season.
