Budweiser is looking for one member of the public to become the Budweiser Brewmaster's Apprentice — training which will involve travelling around the

world and learning about the craft.

"Ten finalists will be selected to attend an intense day-long challenge at the Budweiser brewery in London. The finalists will receive an exclusive tour of the brewery and compete in taste challenges before facing the brewmasters in a panel interview," the company explained.

The chosen apprentice will fly to St Louis, Missouri, to see Budweiser created, before heading to Busch Farm Huell in Munich, Germany, to get hands-on experience harvesting hops at Anheuser-Busch's farm.

Back at the Budweiser brewery in London, the apprentice will receive training, shadowing the brewmasters and learning about each step of the brewing process.

In addition, the Brewmaster's Apprentice will indulge in a Budweiser party in VIP style at a local event.

Budweiser Brewmaster Hugo Anderson said: "We are eager to open our brewery's doors and share our passion with someone who appreciates beer. The Budweiser Brewmaster's Apprentice winner will have the opportunity to learn about Budweiser by going behind-the-scenes at our brewery, travelling the world and tasting some great beer along the way."

UK beer fans can enter the competition on www.budweiser.co.uk by completing a brewing quiz and explaining why they deserve to become the Budweiser Brewmaster's Apprentice.
