A successful website that has helped pubs in the South East market themselves is going national.

For the last seven years City Pub Life has helped pubs in the region attract customers by showcasing what they have to offer. And from next week licensees across the country will be able to use the resource.

Licensees sign up to the site, which will be called The Pub and Bar Network, and provide details about events and facilities they offer, such as sport, food or function rooms.

Customers are then able to choose exactly the type of pub they are looking for.

For licensees wishing to sign up there is an initial £75 fee plus a further monthly £15 subscription. But licensees who sign up in September do not have pay the initial £75.

Managing director Perry Mayer said: "People are looking for pubs all the time and City Pub Life picks up all those enquiries. As of September we will be able to provide this service across the country."

The address of the new site is www.pubandbar-network.com and it is expected to go live some time next month.
