Supermarket giant Asda has been blasted for selling a four-pack of booze that is cheaper than WATER. The chain is offering four cans of Skol for an astonishing 90p - cheaper than a four bottle pack of Evian. The lager packs, each containing 440ml of drink, work out at just 51p a litre. A new drink has been created by a Scottish brewery to help efforts to protect red squirrels. Proceeds from the sale of Red Squirrel Ale will be donated to the Dingwall-based Highland Red Squirrel Group (HRSG). The ale has been made by Atlas Brewery in Kinlochleven - BBC News

More than 15,000 cans and bottles of alcohol have been secretly labelled by police in an attempt to crackdown on underage drinkers. The police have teamed up with off-licences in Leeds who will supply alcohol in coloured plastic bags. Youths will be stopped by police if seen with one. The move aims to deter adults from buying alcohol for youths, by allowing police to discover where it was bought to help trace the culprits - BBC News
