The PPL music service company has launched a new website and licence sticker in a bid to strengthen its brand message.

The licence stickers, required by publicans to demonstrate that they have paid for the right to play recorded music, have been completely redesigned and will now be distributed to paying premises.

The company's website has also been redesigned in order to create separate pages for designers, record companies and music users.

Additionally, changes have been made to increase the usability of the website by making it more accessible to those with visual impairments.

The redesigns were completed by Rufus Leonard, whose strategy director, Andrew Pinkess, said: "PPL is doing a vital and successful job in ensuring that musicians and record companies get paid for their work, and in championing their rights in the future.

"We have helped the company communicate more effectively and more broadly, and we look to raise its profile as the key player it is, in ensuring the future growth of music revenues both in the UK and internationally."

PPL, a not-for-profit company, licenses recorded music on behalf of over 3,400 UK record companies and over 38,000 performers around the world.
