Undergraduate membership offers benefits for those who haven't completed their NCPLH exam.

The BII is offering "undergraduate" membership to anyone who has not completed their personal licence exam.

Previously, BII membership was not open to individuals without the relevant qualifications and experience. Undergraduate membership is aimed at newcomers to the trade and is for those who have not yet passed their national certificate for personal licence holders.

Membership lasts for 12 months and includes:

• Monthly copies of BII's members' magazine BiiBusiness.• 24/7 access to a free legal helpline for both business and personal matters.• Access to a free licensing helpline.• Discounted rates for supplies for the business and lower credit card rates.• Free employment documents, contracts of employment, policies and procedures.

They will then be offered the chance to upgrade to full membership, subject to eligibility.

Undergraduate membership costs £39 plus VAT if paid by direct debit, and £49 plus VAT with payment by cash or credit card.
