Carlsberg is launching a website for its Tetley's 100 Club rewards scheme next year to allow members to interact with each other.

Membership of the four-year-old initiative is available for any social or working men's club in Yorkshire and Granada that sells more than 100 barrels of Tetley's - Cask, Smooth, Mild and Falstaff.

Benefits include branded Tetley's glassware, an invite to an annual event and a quarterly magazine with details of the club's activities.

Dave Scott, Carlsberg's head of on-trade customer marketing, said: "In our plans for 2009 we've looked at ways in which we can continue to partner successfully with our members and increase the sense of community of the 100 Club.

"So as well as increased investment we're currently planning to launch a website that will be designed to not only assist our members but allow them to interact with each other."

In 2008 Carlsberg committed more than £100,000 to supporting the club and its members which now number 142.

Scott added: "For us this isn't about a quick return on our investment, it's about supporting the clubs which form the heartland of British ale drinking."
