Famous Grouse offers rugby-goers free samples

Famous Grouse whisky is to offer rugby goers free samples and beanie hats as part of its sponsorship of the Scottish rugby team.

All adult fans attending the matches against Wales on 8 February and Ireland on 14 March at Murrayfield will be offered a free sample and the first 1,500 through the gate will also receive a free hat.

A sampling bar for Black Grouse will also be at Murrayfield for the match against Italy on 28 February. Samples of "Smoke and Coke" will be offered — Black Grouse with Coke.

Maxxium UK's brand manager for the Famous Grouse, Lee Walker said: "This is the 18th year that The Famous Grouse has backed Scottish rugby.

"We are extremely proud of our association with the national rugby team and it's one of the most iconic partnerships in sport. The new look Famous Grouse Stadium will continue to provide a unique experience and entertainment hub for rugby fans.

"This is also the first time we have introduced The Black Grouse to rugby fans and we're thrilled to extend the partnership."
