The Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts kicked-off on the 5th February and will be live on Sky every Thursday night until the end of May.

Darts is fast becoming one of the hottest sports around and is the 2nd most watched sport on Sky behind Premier League football. Hundreds of thousands of eager darts fans will tune in every week to watch their heroes take to the oche and commence battle for the coveted Whyte & Mackay Premier League trophy.

The fun and popularity has come back into darts and this is something that can easily be transferred into a pub setting. Publicans should look to set up a league of their own or show every televised match to encourage customers and their mates to get out of the house and down into their local to enjoy a few drinks and maybe throw a few darts.

If publicans can look to capitalise on this big money entertainment extravaganza then they too can be looking to generate incremental profits for their bar.

The Morning Advertiser has teamed up with Whyte & Mackay to offer the chance to have one of the best darts players in the world join an amateur darts team for a night.

One of the 8 players from the Whyte & Mackay Premier League - including Phil 'The Power' Taylor, Wayne 'Hawaii 501' Mardle and Terry 'The Bull' Jenkins - will become a member of the pub team for one night helping to take a local side to victory or even to just take on a publican in a one to one match in their local.

All you need to do is email your name, telephone number and address of your outlet to qnegf@julgrnaqznpxnl.pbz

2 lucky runners-up will each receive a pair of tickets to the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Finals night at Wembley on the 25th May 2009.
