Budweiser Budvar Cheltenham Jazz Festival
If you know a pub that promotes the finest in UK jazz, then this is the competition for you.
In association with Budweiser Budvar Cheltenham Jazz Festival The Morning Advertiser proudly presents- Budvar Brewed Jazz- our search to find and reward UK pubs that encourage live jazz and the people who make it.
If you host live jazz in your pub then we want to hear from you. Soloists or bands, mainstream or avant-garde; amateurs or semi-pros - as long as they perform in a pub all are eligible. The winning band will perform live in the famous Budvar Marquee at the festival on Saturday May 2nd- the place where the experimental and the cutting edge happens and will also have a chance to take the main stage at the Pub in the Park event ,a celebration of the great British pub to be held in London's Greenwich Park in September.
You owe it to the talent under your roof to give them this chance and it could help make your pub even more of a destination than it already is.

To enter your pub's best combo or solo entertainer just complete the form below and send it with a sample track (no more than 10 minutes long) to Phillip Wood, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, 109 Bath Road, Cheltenham, Glos.GL53 7LS by March 31st.

All you have to do is submit a short sample track, not more than 10 minutes long, on a CD, along with the completed form, which can be cut out below. Alternatively, send in a link to a MySpace page or an MP3 via email to: wrzzn.cevpr@purygraunzsrfgvinyf.pbz.

All submissions will be judged by a panel of master jazzers bought together by the Budweiser Budvar Cheltenham Jazz Festival. From these three finalists will be selected to play at the grand final at the festival on Friday May 1st.
