Frederic Robinson has bought a freehold Cheshire pub from a Punch Taverns for an undisclosed sum off a guide price of £650,000.
Christie+Co, handling the sale, sold the freehold interest of the Dun Cow pub near Knutsford, Cheshire, to the Stockport-based brewer and pub operator.
Situated in the village of Ollerton, the two-storey detached inn comprises a 50-cover open-plan lounge, a 30-cover dining area and a beer patio. It also has a two-bedroom owner's accommodation and a 50-space car park.
Robinson's currently operates over 400 pubs spread across the North West of England, North Wales and the Midlands.
Keith Stringer, associate director at Christie+Co, said: "This acquisition is another perfect example of how regional brewers are now in a prime position in the current market to acquire good quality, well-located freeholds.
"The Dun Cow is a popular destination and locals' pub with a food-led trade that can be further developed. It is also ideally placed to draw custom from the affluent towns of Wilmslow, Knutsford and Holmes Chapel."
