Go solo at Two for One
Punch Taverns brand Two for One is offering single unit meals for the first time since the brand was launched in 2002.
The new "Price Cruncher" meals are on offer in the brand's 165 pubs and include fish and chips, all day breakfast, chicken kiev and arrabbiata pasta at £3.99 and sweet and sour chicken and mince and potato pie at £4.49.
Concept manager Karen Turton said: "This is the first time we have undertaken a single meal offer of this kind. When Two for One was launched it provided the customer with a menu focussed upon delivering great value through an unbeatable offer. Times have changed. The retail sector have led the way with fixed price offers such as £1 freezer ranges and consumers are now looking at price point rather than offer."
Four new sharing platters at £9.99 aim to attract family diners looking for added value. The platters include awesome burger, gigantic fish and tasty curry. all the platters come with side dishes
The new menu means a family of four can eat out for under £15. Brands such as Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Dominos and Pizza Hut offers a family bucket with eight pieces of chicken for £11.49 and Pizza Hut has a number of family offers for under £15.
Turton added: "We recognise that it's a difficult time for lots of families and that this will continue throughout the summer and our new menu is designed with this in mind."
The new menu also includes starters and desserts from £1.50 and the option to go large on Sunday roasts for £1.
