Old Speckled Hen has unveiled its new campaign ads as part of its sponsorship of prime time TV on lads channel Dave.
The "Seek out something different" campaign — part of a £3.6m support package for the brand — will feature an inquisitive fox on a quest for the elusive hen.
On his travels, the fox encounters a series of very odd acts including a snooker playing contortionist, acrobatic cleaners, a flamenco dancing bull, a penny farthing race, a musician playing a super-sized saxophone and a man with giant balloon bouncing over his head.
"Cask beer is enjoying a renaissance, outperforming other drinks in the market and continuing to attract new custom," said Greene King marketing director Fiona Hope. "Old Speckled Hen is one of the best known and most respected premium ales and the association with Dave will help drive interest in the category as well as the brand."
Steve North at Dave added: "The ads are witty, unusual and create a real sense of intrigue, perfect for our programming."
