With sandwiches an important driver of food trade for pubs, Booker is bringing together a range of products packaged as a complete sandwich solution.

Everything from sandwich fillers to breads, quality bagged salads, condiments and disposables such as cutlery, napkins and take-away containers are available.

Along with sliced bread at just 62p a loaf, the cash & carry group has a wide choice of part-baked bread, including its own Chef's Larder floured and sliced baps, baguettes and ciabattas.

For the all-important fillings, Booker offers cold continental meats, cheeses and salmon as well as pre- mixed sandwich fillers.

"This is an ideal time and opportunity for pubs to offer fantastic tasting, quality sandwiches that are great value for money to increase their sales and profits," said Ron Hickey, sales director - catering. "The summer is the perfect time to refresh the sandwich menu as the consumer may not be looking for a hot meal."

Al prices in Booker's new Range & Price Guide are guaranteed throughout the summer, allowing pubs to set their menu prices.
