Managed pub company Tattershall Castle Acquisitions has sold the lease of the Minerva Hotel pub in Hull, East Yorkshire, to local operator Phil Daly, for an undisclosed sum.

The three-story property, which is situated in an area of Hull that is currently under going regeneration and redevelopment, has four trading areas, a 25-cover bar, a 15-cover lounge, a 26-cover dining area, and a 12-cover snug.

The property, which is currently closed, also includes a three-bedroom owner's accommodation on the first floor and a further eight rooms on the second floor.

New owner Phil Daly, who plans to re-open the property as a pub, currently operates the Legends Bar in the city.

The sale was handled by Christie + Co, the firm's Martin Stansmore said: "The Minerva Hotel is a substantial property which was popular with local residents and workers. It attracted a significant amount of interest and a number of bids for the site were submitted.

"The pub is ideally located to take advantage of the ongoing redevelopment and regeneration that is taking place in the immediate area, offering a great opportunity for an incoming operator to establish a profitable and sustainable business."
