Celebrity chef Brian Turner has recently launched a beer named Amber Ale (4.2% abv).
Amber Ale has undertones of honey and caramel with a smooth, dry finish. It was developed in partnership with the award winning Thornbridge Brewery in Derbyshire.
The ale is being showcased among Mitchells & Butlers' 13 winter ales menu in Classic Pubs.
Turner has visited a number of Classic Pubs in London to mark the launch.
"Amber Ale is a return to my roots," he said. "It's a culmination of many hours of discussion and hard work to brew an ale that's fantastic with food."
The chef plans to launch three more ales over the coming year.
Other ales in M&B's 13-strong winter collection include Shepherd Neame's Rudolph's reward (3.7% abv), Thwaites' Nutty Black (3.3% abv) and Cropton Dangleberry Ale (5% abv).
