Peach pub company operations director Paul Cutsforth is to leave the company to join the board of managed operator Orchid at the end of March.

Peach is now recruiting to replace Cutsforth, who has been with the company, which has 13 sites, for one year.

Peach co-founder Lee Cash said: "What we need now is someone to step straight into Paul's shoes — not an easy task as he certainly achieved a lot in the year he was with us — to continue the good work we've been doing on things like our beer offer, creating more tools to help our joint venture partners succeed and essentially developing our people, something we work really hard at.

"We're sorry to be losing Paul — it was a good fit — but we appreciate he's been made an offer he felt unable to turn down and we respect that — sometimes you just have to let go. It's onwards and upwards now for us, and we're starting the New Year in earnest looking for the right person to assume the role."
