Brothers Cider has agreed a deal to supply cider to one of the country's biggest music venues - the O2 in London.

Carrying on its tradition of supporting live music events, Brothers is now the official supplier of pear and flavoured ciders to the venue which attracted over two million visitors last year.

The company was founded in 1995 to supply cider to the Glastonbury Festival, but launched to pubs and supermarkets in 2005. The deal marks five years of rapid growth for the cider brand which saw its total volume in the on-trade increase by 21 per cent last year, helped in part by its first national television advertising campaign.

Matthew Showering, managing director of Brothers Cider, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for Brothers Cider to build upon its roots as a brand born out of music festivals and will give us a year round platform to promote Brothers Cider to nearly 2.5 million consumers across the UK."

Paul Samuels, executive director of sponsorship at the O2, said: "I have no doubt that Brothers Cider will prove extremely popular with our customers. The O2 arena attracts millions of visitors a year and Brothers Cider will have an unrivalled opportunity to showcase its product to a new audience."

Brothers also plan to use the venue for promotions, giveaways and brand events.
