Manchester based Hydes Brewery has launched the first of a new line up of craft ales to be rolled out over 2010.
The new range comprises six distinctively named beers focusing on a circus theme.
Heads & Tails (4.6% abv) will be launched this week, which has a pump clip image of a cellarman putting his head in a lion's mouth.
It is Hyde's ninth consecutive range following hot on the heels of 2009's discovery line up, which saw a sales increase of 14% year-on-year.
"Craft ales have seen a continued success in what has been another challenging year for the trade," said marketing director David Safiruddin.
"Like many brewers we are seeing a pocket of buoyancy in the cask sector and undoubtedly customers enjoy trying new seasonal ales."
One beer will be released every two months throughout 2010. Over a Barrel (4.1% abv) will be released next in March.
