Jillian MacLean, the founder of Drake & Morgan, picks her top 10 jukebox tunes

When I was growing up in Scotland I remember playing the Bay City Rollers in the local pub and wearing some seriously bad tartan. Since then, my dress sense has improved if not my taste in music. In our bars I get to listen to a great range of music, so I'm up to speed with what's in the charts. Certain songs often bring back special memories for me — there's always a song that will catch a moment in time and put a smile on my face.

1. All the Lovers, Kylie Minogue

This is my song of the moment. I wasn't sure about it at first, but as always Kylie's music has completely grown on me and I love it. A perfect summer song.

2. One, Mary J Blige featuring U2

Both Mary J Blige and Bono have really powerful voices that work perfectly together and it reminds me of having fun times with my sister in America.

3. Crazy in Love, Beyoncé

If only I could move like Beyoncé. I think she has a great voice and you can't help but want to dance a bit when this song comes on — not that I do, of course.

4. I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), The Proclaimers

This song came out when I moved down to London in 1988 and it always reminds me of home. It's my first choice for karaoke.

5. Patience, Take That

I'm a huge fan of Take That, even without Robbie, so I was thrilled when they made a comeback with this song. They really know how to put on a great show and the album is great to unwind to.

6. Paparazzi, Lady Gaga

I can never get the chorus of this song out of my head. She's a great artist and constantly surprises you. She's a modern-day Madonna, so it will be interesting to see how her career continues, but I'm a big fan.

7. Band of Gold, Freda Payne

My mum and I used to sing and dance to this classic all the time — actually we still do. It brings back very happy memories.

8. Chasing Cars, Snow Patrol

After a busy day at work this song always relaxes me. The lead singer's voice is amazing and the lyrics are beautiful. The band never gave up and I think that's an inspiration to all those who want to crack the music scene.

9. Melody, Sharleen Spiteri

A Glaswegian with a wonderful voice. I never get tired of this album and she says it was the album she always dreamed of making — so good on her.

10. Norma, Maria Callas

Once home, I kick off my shoes, relax with a chilled glass of wine and often pop on a Maria Callas album. I think this song is her most memorable and one of my favourites.
