Under-21s will have to show ID to buy booze under a major binge-drinking crackdown to be announced next week. They will be hit by compulsory checks from pubs, clubs and offlicences which MUST ask them for proof of age if they look too young. The tough new laws aim to beef up current guidelines which encourage venues to ask for ID only if someone appears under 21 - Mirror
