SoCo plans Mardi Gras next month
Bacardi Brown-Forman (BB-F) is encouraging licensees to brighten up February by holding a Mardi Gras event with some help from Southern Comfort.
The company will be giving away 4,000 Southern Comfort-branded Mardi Gras kits to help licensees put on a New Orleans-themed event.
The kits contain standard PoS, as well as masks, beads, flags, balloons, feather boas and gifts for consumer giveaways such as mini iPod speakers and T-shirts.
"Consumers will get to sample our delicious new serves and with great give-aways to promote rate of sale as well, footfall is sure to increase in what tends to be a predominantly slow month," said brand manager Jamie Butler.
